Just when we thought summer couldn’t get any hotter one of the hottest events to hit the city centre kicked off again in early January. Pandemonium ’08, the ever popular summer Buskers Festival, hit city centre pavements for a week of mad cap antics from January 4^th and drew thousands to the city centre to be entertained over seven crazy days.

This year the line up was one of the best ever with some of the countries best professional street performers making the pilgrimage to Gisborne. Pandemonium boasted some of the most respected acts in the country and offered a huge range of crazy, magical, and down right silly experiences from motorised toilets and giant eyeballs to 1970’s Playboys and Opera singers.

Planning is now underway for Pandemonium ’09 so watch this space!
